Description

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of scorecards (credit, behavioral, collections)
• Direct implementation of risk infrastructure tools which are used in assessing the credit worthiness of applicants i.e. decision engine, fraud detection.
• Demonstrate a credit lifecycle background with hands-on expertise in underwriting, credit analysis, portfolio management and collection.

Scorecard Development:
• Model development domain expertise with ability to direct and coordinate modeling and analytical support. This role will include model development work overseeing/leveraging different methodologies with varying degrees of data completeness and often impaired data integrity.
• Responsibility for scorecard model inventory and validation schedule.
• Capability to lead cross-functional initiatives i.e. risk based pricing, provision methodology.

Risk Analytics:
• Lead development of standardized and comprehensive portfolio quality reviews, portfolio segmentation, vintage analysis, collection analysis.
• Develop operational capabilities in credit risk assessment and monitoring capabilities; portfolio loss forecasting, vintage loss tracking, risk based pricing.
• Validate and monitor existing scorecards.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mathematics or Statistics preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ progressive experience in credit and risk management with expert knowledge of risk insight analytical, scorecard model development and loss forecasting.
• Capability to take complex analytical concepts and present the idea to non-analytical management in qualitative and quantitative way.
